Grassroots refers to local communities of musicians, venues, promoters, and fans who form the foundation of music culture in different regions. Grassroots venues are often small, local spaces where emerging and independent artists can showcase their talent. 

‘Courting The Q-Days’ aims to depict the life and experiences of an up-and-coming grass roots band. By exploring visual themes of rehearsals, load-in, setting up etc. the viewer has visual access to otherwise unseen events and the unheard can be appreciated.
